Pack my parachute

I am fortunate enough to have had many people impact my life. So choosing just 6 is hard enough as it is. So I just decided to go with the first people who popped into my mind when I thought of people influencing me.
I would have to start with my Mom. Of course she's been there for me since birth and has given me everything I have ever wanted. She has taught me so many things I need to know, and has given advice in all the right places.
My Dad also has been a big influence. He's the one who keeps me going, any time I ever felt like I couldn't accomplish something, he's been there to cheer me on. Especially in sports. Hes also made me realize that I don't have to take crap from guys, and to only be treated the way I deserve to be treated.
Colton, my little brother, has in some way influenced me I guess I could say. We have been together since birth. I was only 11 months old when he was born, so to us, we're basically twins. There isn't really a memory I have that he isn't in. We have so much fun together and hang out all the time. He has shown me and everyone how strong sibling relationships can be. People always tell me how cool they think it is that my brother can be my best friend, and I'm proud to be able to say that we are.
Jaci is one of my best friends and she has been there for me threw a lot. We already have so many memories, and we've only known each other for going on 4 years now. She moved here as a freshman and ever since we've been close. She's so much fun to be around and I know that she'll always be there for me. She's shown me that you can trust and depend on people, and you can talk to someone and not just hold all your feelings in. Thanks jaci!! :)
Jodi is also one of my best friends and she has been there for me threw thick and thin.
Last but defiantly not least is my sister Emily. This is the person I dedicate my blog to. She seriously knows EVERYTHING about me. She probably knows me better than anyone. I love her so much and our relationship is better than any other sister's!!

My Expectations of Being a Senior

My expectations of being a Senior vary greatly. I have been told by so many people to "enjoy your senior year" or, "it'll go by so fast". So I expect it to be fun for sure, and apparently go by fast. I also am learning pretty quickly that your senior year gets you ready for college. I am taking a college class, and it turns out that I actually know nothing about college classes. Good thing I am taking one now. I also before I know it will be filling out college applications and buffing up my resume. It's crazy to think that I really only have one more year left of my high school career. One more year left of being with my family all the time and one more year left of being with all of my friends.
All in all though, I expect it to be one of the best times of my life and can't wait to get started!
