Future Letter

Dear me, am I in a mad mood yet? Because being that it has been 13 years now, I hope that I have some kids. Kids tend to get on my nerves sometimes, so I'm probably pretty ticked off at something they did right now. Is my husband hot?? I really hope so, surely I didn't get desperate and marry someone just because time was running out. What is my career? I have no idea what I want to do as of right now, so I'm REALLY hoping that I figured it out by now. How big is my family? I was hoping for about 4 kids. Where do I live? I'm assuming not in Childress. How is my nephew Brayden doing? He should be about 13 now. How many more brothers and sisters does he have by now? Well, surely all of my answers will be the good, right answers I'm wishing for. Until then, have fun with my life!

Coach Rhodes

One time after a football game, when I was a freshman, Coach Rhodes came up to me and started talking to me. Being that I barely knew him, and we hadn't ever really had a conversation, I was a little confused on why he was all the sudden talking to me. So after about 10 minutes of talking, he just stopped, looked at me and said, "You isn't Emily is you?". I laughed and said no sir, and he smiled and walked off. I had an older sister who went to school and ran track for him back in high school, they were pretty close, and he apparently thought that I was Emily, in his defense, we do look A LOT alike! :)

Hosuton

This weekend my family and I went to Houston to visit my sister and her husband and son. We stayed busy the whole time, and had tons of fun, which could be the reason why the weekend flew by so fast! We also watched paranormal activity and it was the scariest movie I have ever seen. I don't care who believes me or not, but I swear ghosts are real!! If you have been threw any kind of paranormal activity, this movies will FREAK you out!

My Tale

There once was an old, repulsive man who lived in a dark, musty cave all alone. His skin was the color of dirt, almost as if he had 3 layers of dirt rubbed on him. His teeth were a dull yellow, a few missing here and there, that gave him a devilish grin. You could smell his distinctive scent from far away, letting you know he was near. No one ever visited him, no ever cared. He just simply set alone, and slowly rotted away in life's many years.
A young lady who had heard about this monstrous man decided to pay him a visit, but she knew that she could not stand the stench of his cave and his rotting skin. So she payed a visit to a sorcerer she knew and told her that she intended to help this poor forgotten man. The sorcerer gave the lady a potion, telling her to have him drink it, and he would be released from his awful bounds. So the lady took it and headed into the dark, cold forest in search of his cave.
Once she found the cave, she threw her cloak over her nose and tried to bare the smell as their body's came closer. She realized that the man probably hadn't eaten or had a drink in days, so she set the cup of potion down. He wearily walked to it and then snatched it up, gulping it greedily. As he began to feel the potion's warm, rich ingredients trizzel down his throat, he noticed a change in his body. His body straightened up, his teeth brightly shined, he hair was smooth and silky, his skin became soft to the touch, and he smelled of the finest perfumes. The man was finally free from his burden! All thanks to the nice lady.

swine flu

H1N1 flu, or better known as Swine Flu, has spread dramatically over the country. Originally, the flu was found in pigs, hence the name "Swine Flu". People have been taking many precautions to avoid becoming infected with the flu. Washing hands, using germ-x, and dis-infecting everything are the number one steps to avoiding the flu. However, you CAN still eat pork, the flu is not carried in the meat.
The symptoms for the Swim Flu include those much like your regular seasonal flu. High fever, vomiting, head-aches, soar throat, cough and muscle aches are the most common symptoms. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should see your doctor immediatley to lessen your chances of it getting worse, and spreading the flu.
If you follow safety steps such as washing your hands, and keeping your hands away from your mouth and nose, your chances of becoming infected are less likely.
